Meet the Founders
Barrera Nursery was established in 2011 by Francisco and Felicitas Barrera. Known in the community as “Don Pancho and Felis,” they turned a family dream into a trusted neighborhood nursery—one that remains a source of pride for both their family and the community they serve.
Pancho, with decades of experience in trees and soil, walks the property alongside customers, offering thoughtful recommendations for shade, fruit, and privacy.
Felis is the backbone of the operation, overseeing the daily care and organization of the nursery. From nurturing and watering the plants to coordinating seasonal staff and ensuring every detail is just right, she helps create a space that is both welcoming and well cared for. Fluent in Spanish, she makes every visit feel like family.
